Biography:

Dr. Debra Gotz (aka Dr. Debbie) was born and raised in Holmdel, New Jersey. She then went to college at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. For medical school she returned to New Jersey, attended New Jersey Medical School – UMDNJ, in Newark, NJ. For the next several years she became a “New Yorker”. There she completed her Pediatric Residency training at New York University and Bellevue Hospitals.

Although she loved life in the Big Apple, once her daughter Chloe was born, she decided her kids would need some grass and fresh air, maybe a beach! She moved to Connecticut in the year 2000.

At Stamford Pediatrics, Dr. Gotz has a special interest in lactation counseling and support. She loves watching her patients grow and mature as the years go by.

She currently lives in Greenwich, CT with her husband Lance, and three girls, Chloe, Sophia, and Phoebe. As a family, they spend alot of time on the beach, enjoy hiking and skiing. When she is not “playing doctor”, Dr. Gotz enjoys being a mom, taking pictures of her girls, watching them dance, play and grow. She also loves to read and be read to, enjoys sewing, a good movie, and a travel adventure.
