Dr. Jamie Roach Murray grew
up in Darien, CT where she attended the local public schools
until going to boarding school in 10th grade. She then went
on to get her B.A. in Religion at Princeton University.
Throughout her studies, she focused on bioethics and
medicine, realizing she had a life long passion for taking
care of children. She obtained her medical degree from the
University of Connecticut, where she received awards for
excellence in medical studies. Her residency training was
completed at Emory University, where she had the opportunity
to train at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the top
3 children's hospitals in the country.
She is married and lives with her husband in Stamford.
Her entire family lives in the area now which she absolutely
loves, and she's thrilled that her nieces and nephews are
all around so that her first child, expected in June, might
be able to get to spend time with his or her cousins as she
herself has been able to do. Dr. Roach Murray has a special
interest in vaccine safety and is becoming increasingly
involved in community health initiatives. |
